Andrew Neophytou - CEO

In June 2015 Andrew was appointed IELLEN CEO, having worked at the IELLEN since 2011 as Senior Partnership Broker. Andrew has led more than a dozen partnerships, projects and networks, documented on the site and in Annual Reports. He is also Deputy Chairperson and Secretary of the Prahran Community Learning Centre; a member of the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria's Policy Advisory Group; and is a Steering Committee member of the Education Engagement Partnership (EEP), and a Schools Focused Youth Service. Andrew has been Convenor of the Inner Metro Youth and Community Partnership (formerly Inner City RYAN), leading its "Middle Years" Working Group. Prior to the IELLEN, Andrew worked for many years at TaskForce Community Agency Inc., as General Manager.

Edward Dunstan - Project Officer


Edward has been working at the IELLEN in the Project Officer position since June of 2015. As part of his role Edward delivers programs, projects and partnerships that aim to improve pathways and outcomes for young people. Notable projects that Edward has initiated include the Trader Engagement Research Project, STEM Career workshops, Work Taster visits, and the continuation of the Disability Pathways Partnership.

Outside of his paid employment, Edward has also been involved with the Centre for Multicultural Youth, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, and CARE Australia, as well as recently completing a Masters of Development Studies at the University of Melbourne.


Dennis Cindric – School – Industry Partnership Broker


Dennis is a new member of the IELLEN staff team, being appointed in February 2016. His role is primarily to increase access to appropriate and quality structured workplace learning (SWL) opportunities for school students in our catchment.

Dennis possesses an extensive background in school to work transitions, having worked as a Pathways Officer, Apprenticeship Mentor and Projects Development Manager in an employment services setting. He brings to the IELLEN a wealth of understanding and knowledge of industry, schools, employment, apprenticeships, further education and training, all of which will assist us to facilitate stronger links between employers and schools.

Tom Rankin - School – Industry Project Officer


Joining the IELLEN in September 2016, Tom has a part-time role as School to Industry Project Officer, and works with Dennis to support the SWL Program, assisting local schools and businesses to provide quality work placement opportunities. Having gained a Teaching degree and a M.Ed., Tom has since worked in educational and work transition roles, including as a Careers Mentor for schools in disadvantaged areas of Liverpool in the UK. Tom’s most recent employment was at another LLEN within the SWL Program area. Together with his current role with us, Tom has solid, practical knowledge of SWL, and the benefits of this Program.
