66 people attended the IELLEN’s AGM & Awards event on Thursday May 16 in the Banquet Hall, Malvern Town Hall.
It was our largest attended AGM. With feedback we have, we’d say it was also our most successful Awards event.
Following the AGM, IELLEN CEO Andrew Neophytou and IELLEN Chairperson Angela Stathopoulos announced a total 11 award winners, six of them to young people.
Sam Joukadjian, Managing Director of IMG Australia (our Awards sponsor) presented winners with certificates and gift vouchers. The combined value of vouchers was over $2,000.

Community Impact Award – Hester Hornbrook Academy (Prahran) – Young Mum’s VCAL Class / “Young Mum’s Unite”
Partnership of the Year – Interchange Inner East and Boroondara Youth Services, for the “After 4 Crew” program
VET Student of the Year – Max Holzhauer
VCE Student of the Year – Ella Monaghan
VCAL Student of the Year (joint winners) – Josie Daweleby; Ethan Barr
Youth Recognition Award (joint winners) – Hugh Flanagan; Tamika Gyesko
