The IELLEN is proud of our latest resource, a youth mental health services directory, for which we’ve received some great feedback. Thanks.

As you may know the IELLEN facilitates numerous partnerships and networks with a health and wellbeing focus.

During the second half of 2018 we were also pleased to launch:

  • “Resilience and Wellbeing (or “RaW”) a network for secondary school wellbeing staff.
  • a Trauma Informed Practice Network
  • a Young Carers Program and
  • an LGBTIQ stakeholder Network.

In 2019 we will also be promoting the important Victorian Royal Commission into Mental Health.  Consultations are already happening (eg led by VCOSS and YACVic) on its Terms of Reference.

The IELLEN will play its part in advocating for the voices of children and young people to be heard over the next two years.

We look forward to its recommendations, and would welcome increased investment in early intervention and support, as well as seeing more collaboration across service sectors.
