“A comprehensive and impressive document”

A Paper prepared by the e2e Working Group, led by the IELLEN, was released late July 2015, and is available on our website, or from Australian Policy Online where it's had more than 2,600 views.

In March 2015 the IELLEN established e2e (short for "Education to Employment") a partnership of stakeholders responding to worrying levels of youth disengagement and unemployment, and to consider actions to improve youth transitions and pathways.

The Paper was the first in a number of projects the group has undertaken. It's titled, "Who pays for youth disengagement and unemployment? A case for smarter thinking and for investment" and over its 34 pages addresses key themes or issues, and also has more than sixty recommendations for government and community.

The IELLEN and e2e welcomes your comments. Above all, we hope that that at least some of the Paper's many recommendations will be considered and actioned.
