Work It Out success. Networks established.

On 29^th May The IELLEN and Boroondara Youth Services delivered ‘Work it Out’ a fun and interactive careers forum for students from four Boroondara high schools.   The event provided a forum for students to explore vocational education and career pathways and learn about general employability skills and attributes.  In line with student interest, industry professionals were drawn from the community services, building and construction, creative and digital media, sport and recreation and hospitality fields to share insights regarding study and work in these areas.

In addition the IELLEN has established new networks, one for Homework Clubs and another for VCAL providers.  Coming up  are meetings of the re-established LGA Youth Services Network and for providers working with “disengaged young people”.
