In addition to School to Work and a VET Cluster, IELLEN provided two significant programs in 2025. In partnership we Vic Police we provided the Safer Families Program. This supported over 50 young people (and or their families) most of whom were first time offenders. SFP provided linkages to community programs and other supports with the aim of reducing further police interaction. Another program IELLEN delivered was for Young Carers. We engaged with 15 young people in a school setting, running weekly lunch meetings that enabled us to develop rapport with these students and provide them some respite as carers. The school involved reported improved attendance of these students too.
